About LD Tide
LD Tide operates a fleet of seven offshore maintenance vessels known as Crew Transfer Vessels (CTVs), dedicated to the transport and transfer of offshore industrial personnel.
Our vessels operate, among others, on the offshore wind farms of Fécamp, Yeu-Noirmoutier, and Saint-Nazaire, actively contributing to the maritime energy transition.
You will work in an innovative environment, strongly committed to safety and operational performance.
As part of the seasonal increase in activity typical of this industry, LD Tide is strengthening its crew teams for the period from April to September 2026.
Main Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the vessel’s machinery, ensuring its technical availability
- Organize and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of onboard systems using the CMMS
- Detect anomalies, promptly alert the Captain and management, and propose diagnostics and technical solutions
- Ensure compliance with safety rules during onboard and subcontractor interventions (PPE, lockout procedures, work permits, etc.)
- Actively contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of technical procedures under the ISM Code
Profile
Training & Certificates:
- Chief Engineer 3000 kW license preferred, or 750 kW license accepted with strong professional experience (especially in electricity and electronics)
Please note: Work performed on CTVs does not qualify as sea time for the 3000 kW license due to the solo position onboard.
- Valid STCW 2010 certificates: CFBS, CQALI, CAEERS, and Medical (according to the candidate’s license)
- Up-to-date medical fitness certificate
Skills:
- Experience in offshore wind and/or high-speed vessels appreciated
- Computer literacy: ability to send emails, enter data in Excel or other digital tools (CMMS via Marad)
- Fluent English required – reading, writing, and speaking (to be demonstrated by the candidate)
- Verifiable professional references required (they will be contacted before hiring)
Job Conditions
- Possible embarkation ports (non-exhaustive): Fécamp, La Turballe, Port-Joinville, Dieppe, Saint-Nazaire
- Work rotation: 14 days by default (flexible between 7 to 21 days maximum) – 12-hour workdays
- Travel expenses from home to embarkation port covered according to company policy
- Employment scheme: ENIM – 12th category
- Collective agreement: GASPE (IDCC 3228)
