His values, rooted in the discipline of high-performance sports and traditions of French family capitalism, were reflected in his dedication to hard work, his commitment, rigour, and courage.

A prominent figure in the maritime industry, Philippe LD was recognized for his unwavering commitment to excellence, sustainable development, and innovation. He always placed public interest above private interests. A staunch advocate of virtuous maritime transport, he supported practices which were respectful of seafarers above all, and mindful of the environment.

Philippe LD’s legacy will continue to inspire and guide Louis Dreyfus Armateurs. May his vision keep on shaping the future of our industry.
