Our subsidiary LD Ports & Logistics recently took delivery on behalf of ALM Shipping, a joint venture between Abu Dhabi Ports and LDPL, of its new vessel ALM AQUARIUS, a Deck Cargo Ship (DCS) of 13,000DWT, by CIMOE at Wuhan Shipyard, Nantong.

This new unit is the first out of a series of 4 dedicated to the Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA​) project consisting of a 15 year-transshipment agreement of bauxite in the Republic of Guinea. ALM AQUARIUS will reach Kamsar Port approximately mid of November and will be used to transport the bauxite from GAC berth to a pair of floating transfer stations that will load the Ocean Going Vessels.
