LD Armateurs publishes its 2025 Sustainability Report and sets out its roadmap for a more sustainable maritime industry

Through its 2025 Sustainability Report, LD Armateurs sets out a concrete roadmap to address the environmental, social and governance challenges of a rapidly transforming maritime sector. As highlighted by CEO Samira Draoua, the Group confirms its ambition to shape the maritime solutions of tomorrow while supporting its clients in their decarbonization needs.  

Across its four CSR areas, LDA has set ambitious goals, backed up by a strategic roadmap and concrete target actions, enabling the Group to measure progress moving forward.

On the environmental front, the Group continued the development of its next-generation fleet integrating innovative technologies, while completing a comprehensive carbon footprint assessment covering scopes 1, 2, and 3. A dedicated biodiversity strategy was also launched, and the Green Marine Europe certification was successfully renewed.

Convinced that sustainable performance is driven by people, LD Armateurs places its employees at the heart of its strategy. The Group has further strengthened its commitments to safety, inclusion, and talent development, while continuing to improve quality of life at work. It also reaffirms its ambition to enhance the attractiveness of maritime careers, particularly among younger generations, with the objective of recruiting 400 new seafarers by 2027. 

In 2025, LD Armateurs evolved its governance structure, integrating its four business lines into the Group’s Executive Committee, ensuring closer alignment with client expectations and enabling us to tackle business challenges directly and collaboratively. The arrival of InfraVia as majority shareholder supports this momentum and strengthens LD Armateurs’ long-term sustainable growth ambitions.
