Louis Dreyfus Ports & Logistics (LDPL), a subsidiary of LDA specialised in transshipment, has been developing for many years digital tools to simulate and optimise its operations in order to offer customers the best possible solutions.
Within the LDPL division, your role will be to participate in the improvement of these digital tools.
You will be responsible for the analysis and implementation of the existing simulation, optimisation and reporting tools;
Automation of the simulation/optimisation process;
Research and comparison of existing sources for external data needed for simulation (metocean data, bathymetry…);
Creation of an interface to facilitate the use of the tools by the Business Developers.
Education: Engineering school or equivalent university education.
Level Bac + 4/ Bac + 5
Experience: First experience / similar internship in a company desired.
Language(s): English: fluent in reading, writing and speaking.
Autonomy, rigour and proactivity.
Ability to make proposals.
Relational intelligence and ability to adapt.
Desired skills :
Appetence for IT.
Knowledge of Java/Python.
Knowledge of optimisation methods.
Knowledge of Discrete Event Simulation/ Agent Based Simulation is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office.

Terms of the internship
Type of contract: 12-month contracted internship. Year off.
