Context/ Missions :

Within the Group Accounting Department, and placed under the authority of the Deputy Group Accounting Director, the General Accountant’s mission is to:

  • Ensure the production of the accounts of the entities for which he/she is responsible;
  • Implement any action made necessary by changes in regulations or accounting and tax standards.

In this context, your tasks will be as follows:

Production of the company accounts and reporting for the companies concerned:

  • You will be responsible for the maintenance and revision of the accounts (recording all accounting entries, tallying, monitoring and justifying the accounts),
  • Carrying out monthly closings and the submission of quarterly consolidation reports,
  • Preparing and completing tax returns,
  • Preparation of tax returns and annual accounts,
  • Preparing and checking tax and parafiscal declarations in accordance with the regulations in force (VAT, DES, TVS, CVAE, ORGANIC, CFE, DAS 2, tax packages, etc.),
  • Management of Intercos and their reconciliation,
  • Tax: Calculation of taxable income and IS (knowledge of tonnage tax would be a plus)
  • Treasury: Daily monitoring of the treasury (integration of bank flows into the accounts (accounting allocation), bank reconciliations, preparation of payment campaigns, accounting for customer receipts),
  • Accounting entries for the payroll cycle and social reconciliation,
  • Establishment of forecast accounts,
  • Liaison with management control for cut-off and analytical review work,
  • Relationship with the statutory auditors (legal audit, interim)

Compliance with Group rules and procedures:

  • Maintain accounting and tax procedures and operating modes.

Pre-requisites :

Initial training

Higher education in Finance/Accounting (DSCG minimum or equivalent).

Experience

You have at least 5 years’ professional experience in equivalent functions, including 2/3 years in an accounting firm.

Technical skills

You are familiar with IS: Sage FRP 1000 (ACCOUNTING, REAL ESTATE, GESCOM), Optim’IS (tax), BFC (consolidation),

You are at ease with office automation tools (Excel),

You have a very good command of French accounting standards and a knowledge of IFRS standards,

You have a very good knowledge of tax rules,

You know how to manage multi-currency accounting,

English level “read, written, spoken”: fluent.
