LDPL Middle East provides fully comprehensive services in the engineering, construction and operation of maritime solutions for transhipment and barging (e.g. Iron ore, Coal, Bauxite Logistics)

LDPL Middle East covers a wide range of service and technology through (Self Propelled Barges, Floating Crane, Transhippers, Tugs & Barges, Port Operations)

The Radio Officer of LDPL Middle East is assisting the Port Officer to manage the operations of port facilities and the Company’s operation.

Ensures compliance of activities in port with applicable standards (Company and Client), regulations (incl. IMO COLREG Convention and industry’s best practices

Operates radio and communications equipment in order to deliver necessary information to allow smooth and safe operating process.

The Radio Officer follows LDPL Middle East processes and standards.

Qualified in Port Management or related disciplines with Minimum three (3) years’ as Radio Officer

 

Skills:

Technical and professional skills are essential but not enough.

– Advanced radio equipment skills

– Advanced computer skills on MS Office

– Knowledge of maritime regulations and terminology

– Working knowledge of COLREG Convention, International Association of Marine Aids to

– Navigation and Lighthouse Authorities (IALAAISM) and publications

– Expertise with marine radio communication procedures

– Familiarity with all marine emergency response procedures

– Good Understanding in the ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and ISM systems

– Ability to work under pressure and prioritize.
