LOUIS DREYFUS ARMATEURS SAS PARTNERS SEROJA INVESTMENTS LIMITED TO PERFORM INTERNATIONAL AND INDONESIA DRY-BULK SHIPPING

Louis Dreyfus Armateurs SAS is pleased to announce that it has entered into 2 joint venture agreements with SEROJA INVESTMENTS LIMITED (SIL), through two wholly-owned subsidiary, TRANS LK MARINE LTD (TLK) and PT PULAU SEROJA JAYA PRATAMA (PSJP).

TLK  and LDA will form a Singapore-incorporated company called LD MARITIME-SEROJA PTE LTD (LDMS) to carry out international dry-bulk shipping which exclusively deals with the transportation of cargoes from Indonesia to overseas and other shipping related activities. Both TLK and LDA will own 50% each in the equity of LDMS.

PSJP and LDA will form an Indonesia-incorporated company called PT SEROJA LD MARITIM (SLDM) to carry out dry-bulk shipping which exclusively deals with the transportation of cargoes by ship within Indonesian territorial waters and other shipping related activities. Both PSJP and LDA will own 51% and 49% respectively in the equity of SLDM.

ABOUT SEROJA INVESTMENTS LIMITED
Seroja Investments Limited is a marine transport provider of dry-bulk freight through the charter of its vessels which consist of tugboats and barges to its customers.
SIL owns and operates a burgeoning fleet of 56 young vessels comprising of tugboats and barges which navigate waters around the Indonesian archipelago and international routes from Vietnam to Singapore.
SIL provides chartering services of its tugboats and barges for the transportation of dry-bulk freight, consisting mainly of thermal coal, sand and other quarry materials, with the transport of coal from mines to power stations and cement companies in Indonesia. SIL’s major customers include PT Adaro, a leading coal producer in Indonesia, and PT Indocement Tunggal Perkasa, one of Indonesia’s largest cement producers.
SIL’s freight charters typically involve domestic routes in Indonesia from Kalimantan to various ports in Java and Sulawesi while its time charters involve international routes from Vietnam to Singapore as well as domestic routes around the Sumatra Island.
