Joint Venture LD Cetam

Together with Leif Höegh, LDA has decided to form a joint subsidiary to handle the European Short Sea market. This move follows the previous constitution of a joint venture (FRET CETAM) established to build and operate RoRo vessels for the transportation of Airbus's A380 main components.

The LDA - Leif Höegh common subsidiary will take the name of LD CETAM.

It is a good time for Louis Dreyfus Armateurs to develop and emphasize on Short Sea Shipping, especially for trailers transport by RoRo vessels. We are convinced this is absolutely essential for the development of our modern economies where environmental and safety matters are top priorities.
